If Book 1 taught you to read the letters, Book 2 teaches you to speak the language. This is where you go from recognizing Arabic to actually using it — greeting people, asking questions, describing your day and holding a real, if simple, conversation. Designed for learners who already know the script, Book 2 introduces the grammar and vocabulary that make Arabic sentences work.
Over six lessons and roughly 500 new words, you’ll build sentences from the ground up: nominal sentences and subject pronouns, possession, prepositions, and — crucially — how to talk about the present and future with confidence. Every grammar point is explained in both English and Arabic, so you build fluency in the terms you’ll keep using at every level after this.
